Jessica is currently querying Early Magic.

At sixteen, Rowan and Danika are very different witches working towards initiation into a Santa Cruz coven. When Rowan loses her magic to a local daemon, desperation drives her towards an evil bargain. Danika, a witchcraft newbie, is grieving the loss of her mother, who never told her magic was real. Their paths collide as they take on high school, witchcraft, and demons–both personal and magical.

Biography

Jessica began writing in second grade and has never really stopped. She has spent her life hopping between Prague and California. Currently, she lives in Prague with her husband and two cats. When she is not teaching sixth graders to love reading and writing, you can find her riding the tram with a book in hand or typing away in pursuit of magic.
