Two witches. A portal. And lots of homework. Also a hot vet. And a perfect pair of Prada boots... At sixteen, Rowan and Danika are very different witches working towards initiation into a Santa Cruz coven. When Rowan loses her magic to a local daemon, desperation drives her towards an evil bargain. Danika, a witchcraft newbie, is grieving the loss of her mother, who never told her magic was real. Their paths collide as they take on high school, witchcraft, and demons–both personal and magical.
